17 Problems Only Vegans UnderstandSome do not want to be the cause of any animal suffering, some just do not like the taste of steak and bacon or want to live healthier.

Do You Want To Search Or Find?

Do you want to search or findWhen someone buys a book or attends a training class often they will later say: "I did not learn anything new." "I knew all of that." Some people get even annoyed when you tell them something they already knew. "Tell me something new."

And when you ask "So...are you using the knowledge?" they look at you with that puzzled look. Most people perceive only things that are new to them as interesting. The danger is that they never dig deep into a topic.

Even worse. Repetition is the mother of learning and this way the knowledge will not be turned into skills. Some just collect wisdom in form of written words, books that they don´t even look into.

It´s useless if you do not convert wisdom into knowledge and knowledge into skills.

To train means to deal with a topic or technique over and over again. To learn, experiment and repeat until you mastered it.

A master is not someone who knows something but someone who can do something.

Self-Esteem: Do Your Own Thing

Accepting my unique self

I was at a crossroad. In front of my eyes, I saw two very different scenarios, two very different visions of how my future can be.
Not an easy decision. I relocated from Germany where I spent most of my career in sales. I have done very well. The niches I was working in were overpaid, and I had a pretty remarkable life.

So here I was in the United States ... my English was not good. My first option was that I was offered a sales job with the opportunity to become the district manager.

My second option was to follow the voice of my heart. I wanted to help people. Not the salesy kind of "consultative selling" - really help people to become more successful and happy. Also, I wanted to create a future for myself where I do not have to work crazy hours and drive to the office or appointments every single day.

I knew I wanted to empower people. Bottom line.

Farmer or Eagle?

As I said, not an easy decision. The trainer I owe my 15 years of sales success to is Mike Bosworth. Since I attended his training in the late 90ties (Solution Selling) I had sales success. But for as long it rang in my ears: "You are not one of the eagles".

You see, Mike had classified salespeople into two categories: Eagles and Farmers. Obviously, Eagles were the more unique, rare type. The super sales guys. Mike said that both kinds are needed (to me it sounded like: dumb kid, I love you too). As you can see in 2016, I am still not over the fact that I am just a "farmer" (;   I tried to comfort myself with the thought that eagles leave behind a lot of burnt soil.

Fear of Change - 5 Life Hacks

Pledge against Living as Johnny Average

Often we would rather accept to be unhappy than making changes that can lead to a better life for us. Time and time again, we can see that people only change when they have no alternatives left. When their back is against the wall.

But before that came a long ordeal or even a life of suffering. Some examples of the areas we most often fail to change:
  • Stuck in a work situation that makes us unhappy or even sick
  • We do not chase our dream and live a compromise
  • Our relationship is over. But we stay
  • We want to change unhealthy behaviour
We will look at why we are hesitant to make changes and most importantly share the tricks that will enable you to overcome the fear of change and create the life you desire. At the end of the article, you will also find a gift that will support you even further.

There are some cases where the following tips will not apply as easily and where a person is advised to seek additional individual help. For instance traumata, addiction, serious depression/burnout or cases of severe procrastination

First of all, I would like to show you why we often put off making changes, even though we know we will be better off if we do.

For an outside party, it can be hard to comprehend why someone does not change situations that make them unhappy, for instance quitting a job or ending a relationship. In my experience as a Coach, some people are very scared of making changes. Affected people told me that even though they know that they have to make a change and even though they really want to -  somehow they can´t.
